This anniversary session was a dreammm — an open field, golden hour, & these two: how could it not be magical?
Sunset Point in Arizona has become one of my favorite places to go for sessions. The scenery is simple + yet so incredibly beautiful. The possibilities for photos feels endless — running around in the grass, laying in the grass, dancing in the grass. I have passed this spot so many times in my life. Sunset Point is actually a rest stop area about halfway between Phoenix + Flagstaff in Arizona. As you are driving through the hills + mountains of Black Canyon City it all of a sudden opens up to this massive field on both sides of the highway. I never would have thought to go to this location for photos until I saw other photographers doing so. I took a friend out to this spot for portraits & knew I needed to come back and do a couple sessions.
I met Grace at a photo shoot & I instantly noticed her stunning red hair, her incredibly kind personality, & just her overall welcoming presence. You know when you just feel drawn to someone — I felt that with Grace. Grace is one of the most beautiful souls I have ever met. She is so talented, so sweet, and just such a lovely human. I was so excited when I got to do another photo shoot with her for Lovely Bride (if you have seen my branding on Instagram she is the girl in the photo!) Grace was about to celebrate her one year anniversary with her husband & I just knew it would be so fun to take them out to Sunset Point — here are some of my favorites from our time running around in the fields.
